The Chapel of the Sacred Sacrements
The Chapel is resplendent and jubilant in a triumph of light and angels. At the centre of the vault, above the presbytery, dominant is the 'Dove of the Holy Spirit' illuminating Faith with its light, in the act of holding the cup of the Eucharist accompanied by an angel holding the cross. At its feet are Hope and Charity who is nursing an infant. The applied perspective is effective and recalls the style of Tiepolo already familiar to the artist.
The rest of the decoration refers to illustrious persons, 'Doctors of the Church, 'Angelic Choirs' etc. In a lunette appears the figure of the Redeemer, splendid in a crepuscular light; on the friezes maritime images are intertwined with the palm of martyrdom.
